Corner Bakery Cafe Continues Fight to End Childhood Hunger this September

DALLAS, Sept. 4, 2013  /PRNewswire/ -- Corner Bakery Cafe is marking the sixth year of their national partnership with Share Our Strength's Dine Out For No Kid Hungry® fundraiser to help end childhood hunger in America.

From September 1 to September 29, guests have the opportunity to make a difference in their local communities by visiting a Corner Bakery Cafe and contributing to the cause. Guests who donate $1 or more to the No Kid Hungry campaign will receive a free freshly baked Whoopee Cookie on their next visit and those who donate $5 or more will receive a booklet of special Corner Bakery Cafe offers valued at over $25.  

As part of its commitment to No Kid Hungry, Corner Bakery Cafe is also hosting a secondary fundraising promotion featuring their all-natural Old-Fashioned Lemonade and new Hibiscus Lemonade. Through September 30, Corner Bakery Cafe will offer guests the opportunity to purchase a special edition 16 oz. tumbler for $4.99 while supplies last, with one dollar from each tumbler purchase helping the No Kid Hungry campaign connect children in need to up to 10 meals. Guests who purchase the new custom-designed tumblers will receive lemonade refills for $1.00, with a portion of the proceeds also going to No Kid Hungry.
