CHICAGO and AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cortland Capital Market Services, a leading global investment servicing company, announced today that Jason Hutton has joined the Company as a Director within Cortland's Successor Agency Services Group. Reporting to Joanna Anderson, head of Cortland's Successor Agency Services and Credit Services Businesses, Jason will assist in managing a book of widely syndicated credit facilities and will focus on expanding the business in Texas and the Southwest. Cortland is a leading provider of administrative agency services for direct origination and successor agency situations.

Prior to joining Cortland, Jason was chief executive of a Dallas-based specialty lender. There he led the company through launch and expansion into eight states while raising over $160 million of private and institutional capital. Before that he was head of corporate development for a Fort Worth, Texas-based $200 million private finance company overseeing a portfolio of loans and investments in other alternative lenders. Jason has also worked in the restructuring & turnaround group at Huron Consulting Group, and held originations and asset management roles at Fortress Investment Group, HBK Capital Management, and the syndicated bank loan group at GE Capital.
