COSMED USA, Inc., receives Innovative Technology Designation from Vizient for K5 Wearable Metabolic System

CONCORD, Calif., Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- COSMED USA, INC., announced its K5 Wearable Metabolic System has received a 2017 Innovative Technology designation from Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven health care performance improvement company in the country. The designation was based on direct feedback from hospital experts who interacted with the K5 Wearable Metabolic System at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange in Denver on September 14, 2017.

The COSMED K5 Wearable Metabolic System is used in professional healthcare facilities to measure cardio-respiratory and metabolic functions during stress testing, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and other related activities. The K5 represents the latest generation of COSMED's wearable metabolic systems, first introduced over 25 years ago.
