SPRINGFIELD, Ill., March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- COUNTRY Financial is giving fans an easy way to drum up support for local music programs through Drive 4 the Music. Before Little Big Town stops in selected cities, fans can support a local music program by clicking "Like" on the Road Trips and Guitar Picks Facebook page, www.facebook.com/tripsandpicks.
"A simple 'Like' on Facebook can go a long way," says Karen Fairchild from Little Big Town, which is part of the Road Trips and Guitar Picks concert series. "We're excited to partner with COUNTRY as we encourage the next generation of music stars."
COUNTRY will make a donation to a youth music organization for each "Like" on the Drive 4 the Music application at www.facebook.com/tripsandpicks. Fans will have a two-week window prior to the concert to "Like" the recipient organization. The money raised by Drive 4 the Music can be used for lessons, instruments or other needs the music programs may have. Little Big Town will personally present the gift to the local music program prior to their show.
"Drive 4 the Music is a great fit for our company," says Doyle Williams, chief marketing officer at COUNTRY. "For more than 85 years, COUNTRY has helped people reach their goals, no matter where they're starting from. Through our partnership with Little Big Town, Drive 4 the Music will help more kids get on the right path with their music education."
The first three Drive 4 the Music efforts are with the following Little Big Town concerts:

About Little Big Town
Critically acclaimed platinum-selling group Little Big Town—consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook—first entered the music scene over 12 years ago with hits such as "Boondocks," "Bring It On Home," and "Good As Gone," but it is their fourth studio album and recent chart-topping release on Capitol Records Nashville, The Reason Why, that really has people talking. The Dallas Morning News' Mario Tarradell writes, "There's so much vibrant authenticity and heart in Little Big Town's sound." Collectively, the group has earned eight ACM nominations, eight CMA Awards nominations, and, as of late, their fourth GRAMMY nomination. Currently on tour nationwide, fans can hear their GRAMMY nominated top Billboard hit "Little White Church" as well as new single, "The Reason Why," by visiting www.littlebigtown.com.
