Originally operating as CNS Construction, the company later rebranded as Cousins Roofing, Siding & Decks as it expanded its workforce, production capacity and regional presence.

Cousins now employs 41 W-2 team members in addition to its field subcontractors. Its production operation includes more than 10 deck and outdoor-living crews, more than four siding crews and three roofing crews. The company completes approximately 1,000 projects annually for homeowners throughout Western Pennsylvania.

The company's growth story began with Sam and Calvin building decks from the backs of their pickup trucks. As demand grew, the business expanded beyond decking into residential roofing, siding and broader outdoor-living services. Cousins has now completed more than 2,000 projects and served homeowners across more than 300 Western Pennsylvania municipalities.
