CoverCount Introduces ChatGPT and Claude Integrations for Restaurant Reservations and Hospitality Management
New conversational AI connectors let guests discover restaurants and events while enabling hospitality operators to manage reservations and daily operations through natural language.
TEMPLETON, Calif., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CoverCount, a hospitality reservation and event management platform developed by CloudScope, announced today that its conversational AI connectors have been approved for public distribution through both OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude connector directories.
The approvals introduce two complementary integrations—CoverCount Explore and CoverCount Staff—bringing conversational AI to both consumers and hospitality operators.
Restaurant Reservations and Event Discovery Through AI
CoverCount Explore allows consumers to use ChatGPT or Claude to discover restaurants, wineries, tasting rooms, and local events using natural language.
Guests can ask questions such as "Find a restaurant with a table for four this Saturday at 7 PM" or "What wine tasting events are happening near me this weekend?"
The connector provides venue information, real-time reservation availability, event details, and links to complete bookings through CoverCount.
AI-Powered Hospitality Management
CoverCount Staff extends conversational AI into daily restaurant and venue operations. Authorized operators can review reservations, check availability, manage bookings, communicate with guests, and access operational information simply by asking questions in ChatGPT or Claude.
Rather than navigating complex management interfaces, operators can ask questions such as "How many guests are expected tonight?" or "Show me our reservations for this weekend."
A New Approach to Hospitality Technology
"Conversational AI is changing how people interact with software," said Chris Williams, founder of CoverCount. "Guests shouldn't need another app to find a restaurant, and operators shouldn't have to navigate complicated software to manage their businesses. We're bringing both sides of hospitality into the AI platforms people already use."
CoverCount's integrations use the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard connecting AI assistants with external services.
Both connectors have received approval for public directory distribution and will be available for installation through ChatGPT and Claude.
