Covers.com announces $25,000 prize payout to Jackson Duncan (aka 'brackson13') for making 21 consecutive correct picks in Streak Survivor contest

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia and ATLANTA , Jan. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- North America's leading Web site for sports wagering enthusiasts, Covers.com, announced that Covers member Jackson Duncan is $25,000 richer after placing his 21st straight winning bet in "Streak Survivor", one of the ten free sports handicapping contests available at www.covers.com.  

Duncan won $25K by correctly selecting an NBA game's outcome, taking the underdog Celtics against the Blazers on January 22nd. And only twenty-four hours later the Georgia native pushed his streak to 22 straight by picking Atlanta Hawks (-3.5) over Oklahoma City Thunder; a game which Atlanta won 103-93. If Duncan can maintain his winning streak all the way to 25 in a row, he'll then claim the Covers "Streak Survivor" grand prize of $100,000 in cash.

Known within the Covers community as "brackson13", Duncan started his amazing streak on January 1st taking the over in Ohio State's 42-35 NCAAF win against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.  "I really hadn't paid attention to the Covers contests until last month," says Duncan, who has been using Covers since he was in college.
