CPBS introduces innovative Composite Structural Insulated Panels

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Composite Panel Building Systems (CPBS) introduces a fully composite structural insulated panel (C-SIP) designed to deliver superior performance by continuously insulating and sealing the building envelope. The FRT channels eliminate the use of wood or metal connection materials - the greatest contributors to thermal bridging - which are susceptible to rot, mold and moisture penetration, as well as termite or insect infestation that can dramatically weaken the structure. 

The structural walls in the C-SIP System eliminate the need to convert studs to expensive 2 x 6 framing, in order to meet progressing energy codes with the added cost of extra insulation.
