CPower Appoints New V.P., Strategic Planning & Business Development

BALTIMORE, Nov. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jason Babik recently joined CPower in the role of Vice President, Strategic Planning and Business Development. In this position, Mr. Babik will manage all aspects of CPower's strategic initiatives, business development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He will work to develop and execute strategies that drive continued profitable growth while adding additional capabilities for our customers. He will report to John Horton, President and Chief Executive Officer of CPower.

Mr. Babik joins CPower from Direct Energy Business where his business development leadership brought Direct Energy into the solar and data analytics space. Prior to this, he held several corporate development and financial roles at Westinghouse Electric and in the telecommunications equipment sector.  Mr. Babik brings years of experience and expertise to CPower, which has been strengthening its strategic product offering by integrating its core competencies in demand response and energy management with some of the nation's largest storage, solar, wind and building management system solution providers.
