CR2 has today announced that its Board of Directors have appointed Franky Van Damme as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Franky has worked with CR2 for some time, having previously held the position of non-Executive Director since May 2008.

Franky has significant experience in the financial technology industry at a global level, having been a high level Strategic Consultant and owner at PSX Board Room Advisors, giving strategic and growth recommendations to leading technology firms. His previous positions include CEO of Ordina in Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, as well as founder and CEO of Business Architects International, a company specialising in software products for the financial industry.

Since joining the CR2 Board Committee in May 2008, Franky has gained an extensive knowledge of CR2's solutions and markets and spearheaded a strategic focus towards self-service banking channels.
