Credentials Solutions and SCRIP-SAFE International Finalize Merger

NORTHFIELD, Ill., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The two leading companies in the college transcript delivery industry said today the planned merger they announced in September has been successfully finalized and completed.

The merger creates the single largest service provider of transcripts to colleges, universities, students and alumni at hundreds of schools nationwide by officially uniting Northfield, IL-based Credentials Solutions and eSCRIP-SAFE, a division of Loveland, OH-based SCRIP-SAFE® International Inc.

Under the terms of the agreement, Credentials Solutions will integrate the eSCRIP-SAFE Division of SCRIP-SAFE International into its unit of operations to form Credentials eScrip-Safe.  The announcement was made jointly by Credentials Solutions CEO Thomas McKechney and SCRIP-SAFE Security Products Inc. President and CEO Joe Orndorff.

The newly formed company, which begins operations effective immediately, will provide the safe, easy and secure delivery of transcripts to colleges, universities, students, alumni and other organizations through a FERPA compliant ordering platform. The new entity will be headquartered in Northfield, IL, with additional service and operations centers in Ohio and Nevada.
