CHICAGO, Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Decked out in a variety of fun and festive costumes, a group of Credico volunteers donated Halloween-themed treats to the youth of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, marking Credico's inaugural reverse trick-or-treat event. The Credico team assembled 130 goody bags filled with assorted candies, trinkets and toiletries and distributed the bags to the boys and girls of Mercy Home to celebrate Halloween.
"The idea to create a reverse trick-or-treat event evolved from our desire to find a youth-focused organization that aligned with Credico's mission to encourage young entrepreneurs to become leaders in business," said Jean Broaddus, chief client services officer of Credico North America. "We wanted to do something special for kids who might not get to experience Halloween in a safe and stable environment."
Credico has previously partnered with Mercy Home for its annual Graduates' Luncheon and plans to further support the organization's mission to protect, educate and serve 600 youth each year.
