Crossmint Launches Global Onramp In More Than 160 Countries

Fintechs can now let users fund stablecoin wallets with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cards without leaving their app

MIAMI, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Crossmint, the all-in-one stablecoin and wallet infrastructure platform, today launched its own onramp across more than 160 countries.

Crossmint Onramp addresses shortcomings of existing solutions like low acceptance rates, disjointed user experiences, and lengthy onboarding processes. These issues drive drop-off at the most critical point in onboarding, when a new user is trying to fund their account for the first time.

What Crossmint Onramp does

Crossmint Onramp let fintechs offer wallet funding with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or cards in more than 160 countries, all through one integration. The flow stays inside the app. Developers can embed Crossmint's components or build a headless experience against the APIs, component by component. Identity verification is risk-based and calibrated to the requirements applicable in each market and allows the user to complete funding in one session.

Crossmint's European entity is authorized as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider under MiCA and as a Payment Institution under PSD2. Outside the European Economic Area, onramps are supported either through a Crossmint entity holding the relevant local authorization or through a licensed local partner. KYC, sanctions and AML screening, wallet screening, and Travel Rule obligations are handled directly by Crossmint. On card transactions, Crossmint manages disputes and assumes chargeback liability. Together, these let Crossmint act as a single counterparty across the money movement stack, with the regulated activity performed by the licensed entity in each market.
