Crowdsource Ideas for the Perfect Vacation Getaway with Travelocity's Trips for Me Tool

DALLAS, July 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- While almost everyone agrees that vacations are fun, the process of finding where to go can present a challenge for even the most seasoned travelers. To help people find the perfect vacation destination, Travelocity® has launched its exclusive Trips for Me™ tool, which makes recommendations based on prior search history, most searched destinations and hot new locations based on increased Travelocity search activity.

To find destinations that might be perfect for travelers, but may not be on their radar, the Trips for Me tool looks at the destination preferences for a customer, compares them against 24 months worth of similar searches and travel patterns from Travelocity's database, and delivers personalized recommendations based on this data.

Trips for Me also looks at changes in recent search activities, "Top Trending Destinations" surfaces those places in which Travelocity customers are showing newfound interest as indicated by the largest increase in searches. And for those travelers looking to head to where the action is, "Hot Travel Spots" identifies the top ten most booked destinations by Travelocity customers.

Once Travelocity customers find that perfect vacation spot through the Trips for Me tool, they can also find the best deals on hotels, flights, vacation packages as well as activities that can be booked directly through Travelocity, and even read travel insights from professional travel writers - all on the same page.

Customers can find Travelocity's Trips for Me tool by simply accessing the Travelocity home page, and clicking on "Trips for Me" in the main toolbar at the top of the page. From there, it's just a matter of looking at the customized recommendations and packing for the perfect vacation.
