CrowdStrike Adds VP, Products to Leadership Team

IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CrowdStrike Inc., a global provider of security technologies and services focused on identifying advanced threats and targeted attacks, announced today that Dave Cole has joined the leadership team as Vice President of Products. Cole brings more than 15 years of product management experience and expertise to CrowdStrike.

Prior to working at CrowdStrike, Cole held numerous senior positions within market-leading organizations such as Symantec, Internet Security Systems (ISS), and Foundstone. Most recently, Cole was Vice President of Product Management at Symantec, where he was responsible for a $3B product portfolio that included all consumer (Norton), enterprise, and SMB endpoint protection offerings. Additionally at Symantec, he spearheaded the Norton mobile initiative and introduced a new portfolio of mobile apps and services for the consumer market.

In his role as VP of Products, Cole will be responsible for product strategy across the CrowdStrike Falcon Platform and he will deliver market-leading applications from endpoint threat prevention to cyber threat intelligence.
