He joins the firm from Bracewell & Giuliani LLP.

Carey advises issuers and investors in a full range of matters pertaining to debt, new issuances, and restructuring. Additionally, he advises financial institutions and hedge funds with respect to indenture disputes and issues concerning complex indenture analysis.

Carey worked in London more than five years while developing a strong background in international capital markets and emerging market deals in Russia and Eastern Europe. While there he represented issuers and underwriters in high-yield financings involving Rule 144A/Regulation S and acquisition financings, often for private equity firms.
Carey received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
