Crunch and Johnny G. Launch Gunning(R) Ride with the Johnny G. Krankcycle(R) by Matrix

NEW YORK, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Crunch and Johnny G., the fitness pioneer who invented Spinning®, have teamed up to introduce Gunning® Ride, a workout that combines two of Johnny G's inventions, the Spin bike and his latest creation, The Johnny G. Krankcycle® by Matrix. Gunning® Ride launches at Crunch in West Hollywood on March 15, with an exclusive event, hosted by Crunch and Johnny G. to benefit Project VisAbility.

Gunning® Ride is a unique new group fitness class that utilizes the Spin bike and the Krankcycle® in one 45 minute class. Participants work the lower body on the bike, and then move to the Krankcycle®, a stationary upper-body cycle, to work the arms and torso with a series of movements (double, single, forward and reverse rotations) performed at varying degrees of resistance. Gunning® Ride classes are not only effective, but engaging, as instructors pump music through the studio to set the pace and keep the energy level high.

In conjunction with the launch of Gunning® Ride, Crunch has partnered with Project VisAbility to raise money for their efforts in promoting inclusive fitness by working to provide jobs in the areas of health and fitness for those with physical challenges. Crunch and Johnny G. have also made it their mission to support Project VisAbility with the Gunning® Ride program, making exercise accessible to the disabled.

Johnny G. will host master Gunning® Ride classes on Monday, March 15 at Crunch - Sunset (8000 Sunset Blvd. LA, CA 90046). Classes will be offered at 10:30am, 1:00pm and 7:30pm, $15 for Crunch members and $25 for non-members, all proceeds going to Project VisAbility.
