NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Crunch Franchise announces the opening of its newest location in Richmond, Virginia. The renowned gym chain best known for making serious fitness fun through innovative group fitness programming and cutting-edge training offerings will bring its 'No Judgments' philosophy to the already health conscious community.

Set to open for workouts in March 2015, Crunch Richmond Glenside will be located at 5420 Glenside Drive Henrico, VA in the Floor and Decor shopping strip on the corner of Glenside Drive and Broad Street. The 26,000 square foot space, formerly occupied by K-Mart, is being renovated and remodeled to bring prospective members a top-notch workout facility.

The updated space will boast the latest state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment and will be equipped with an indoor-cycling studio where elite instructors will lead Crunch's signature Ride Classes. The location will also house an oversized group fitness studio where members can participate in group fitness classes available exclusively at Crunch gyms, including BodyWeb with TRX®, Zumba ®, Cardio Tai Box, Yoga Body Sculpt, BOSU® Bootcamp, Fat Burning Pilates and more. Other amenities include tanning, HydroMassage, full-service locker rooms, a dedicated personal training zone and expert personal trainers on hand to provide members with personalized fitness and diet plans.

Crunch Richmond Glenside will be Franchisee, John Freeland's first Crunch location and he plans to open a total of five Crunch gyms in neighboring areas over the next three years.
