TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2014 /CNW/ - Starting the leg in first place after their win in Prince Edward Island last week, siblings Sukhi and Jinder found themselves in last place at the Pit Stop at Cape Enrage Lighthouse in New Brunswick in tonight's episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA. The results tonight revealed the final three teams competing for the biggest grand prize in Canadian television history are: Mickey and Pete (Best Friends, Muskoka, Ont.), Natalie and Meaghan (Teammates, Scarborough, Ont. and Calgary), and Ryan and Rob (Co-Workers, Vancouver).

A few gaffes on the road put Sukhi and Jinder at the back of the pack during the eleventh leg of the race, but it was losing their Detour clue on the ocean floor in Hopewell Rocks Park that brought their Race dreams to an end. While all the teams had difficulty with the complicated Detour involving placing maritime signal flags in a specific order, the lively siblings from Terrace, B.C., were the last to complete the challenge. Sukhi then struggled at the Roadblock at Cape Enrage and the pair became the eighth and final team to be eliminated from the competition. Still, the siblings remained positive about their departure from the competition and just barely missing the finals.

"We feel so blessed that we got to do 11 legs," said Jinder. "Now that we've done this race, I don't want our lives to be any less extraordinary," he added. "To experience something together means the world," said Sukhi, while fighting back tears.

Episode 11 Recap

The Race continued to New Brunswick as the four remaining teams drove from Charlottetown to Shediac, N.B. Teams located a local DQ where an Acadian birthday celebration was underway, and treated the guests to Blizzards and cake before heading south to the Albert County Museum to find their next clue. Here Racers chose one of two Detours, both located at Hopewell Rocks Park, either to string up marine signal flags that represent shore-to-ship international codes in a specific order, or find hidden objects in the forest using GPS. Once completed, Racers made their way to the Roadblock at Cape Enrage where they had to rappel to the bottom of a 40 metre cliff, and then perform a rock climb back to the top before zip lining to the Pit Stop.

For an astonishing seventh time this season, Natalie and Meaghan won the day and became the first team to secure a spot in the finals. The win also earned the teammates two round trip tickets from Air Canada to any of their U.S. destinations, plus $5,000 on their Scotiabank Gold American Express Card.
