Cubic Wins 2018 Modeling and Simulation Award from the National Training and Simulation Association

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced its Cubic Global Defense (CGD) business division has been awarded the 2018 Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Award in the Training/Simulation category from the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA). Each year, NTSA presents awards for outstanding achievement in the development or application of models and simulations. The award was presented to the Cubic SLATE team at the annual NTSA M&S Awards Dinner on Tuesday, November 27 during the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, Florida.

In partnership with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Cubic successfully completed the Secure LVC Advanced Training Environment (SLATE) Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD), demonstrating cutting-edge live, virtual and constructive (LVC) technology for fighter aircraft. As the industry systems integrator, Cubic developed enabling technologies and demonstrated the efficacy of blending virtual and constructive entities into live aircraft cockpits during large force exercise events at Nellis Air Force Base.
