Analyst Update: Corporate Statements, Collaborations, and Quarterly Results

U.S. stocks ended lower on Tuesday as investors worried about the possibility of the first increase in interest rates in nine years and a decline in the value of the euro. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 332.78 points, or 1.9%, to close at 17,662.94. The S&P 500 fell 35.27 points, or 1.7%, to end at 2,044.16. The Nasdaq Composite was down 82.64 points, or 1.7%, to 4,859.79. On Tuesday, the euro dropped 1.3% against the dollar to a 12-year low of $1.07. European stocks also plunged on Tuesday as speculation about a rate hike in the U.S. and concerns over Greece's reform program weighed on the market, despite the bond buying program announced by European Central Bank. The benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 index slumped 0.9% to end at 389.66. Key Asian exchanges also witnessed losses on Tuesday. The Shanghai Composite fell 0.5% on a mixed bag of Chinese inflation data. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index slipped 0.8%, Australia's S&P ASX 200 index finished almost flat, while South Korea's Kospi lost 0.4%.

The largest publisher and a leading developer of mobile games in China, China Mobile Games & Entertainment Group Limited (China Mobile Games), issued a statement in response to allegations made by a short seller on January 15, 2015.

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Citrix) has announced an extension of its long-standing collaboration with Google by providing XenMobile support for Android for Work. This extension builds on the multi-year collaboration between Citrix and Google that includes virtual app and desktop delivery on Chrome devices and existing enterprise mobility management (EMM) support for Android smartphones and tablets.

Nextel Telecomunicações Ltda, one of the largest mobile network operators in Brazil, announced the implementation of Click Software Technology ltd.'s (Click Software) mobility and service optimization solutions to increase work force productivity in order to provide high quality customer service as Nextel expands its 3G coverage throughout Brazil.

Cogent Communications Hoding Inc. (Cogent Communications) has announced its Q4 2014 financial results with service revenue of $96.7 million, up 7.7% YoY. For the quarter, non-GAAP gross profit increased by 8.3% YoY to $55.9 million and adjusted EBITDA increased 6.5% YoY to $33.6 million.

CommVault Systems, Inc. (Common Vault) announced that Tech Mahindra, a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering, has chosen CommVault's industry-leading backup solution to power its "Backup-as-a-Service" offerings for its alliances community.
