Curtain as Art: TWOPAGES Crowns Winners of TWOPAGES X Design Contest 2026 in New York

• Three winning collections go on sale after contest draws 825 designers from 56 countries

NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES and OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The TWOPAGES X Design Contest 2026 concluded with a grand finale in New York on Sept. 16, where British designer Heather Cantrill won first place and $10,000 for her pattern collection, "The Cotswold Way."

American designer Hailey Kiefer placed second with "Villa Chinoiserie," winning $8,000. Canadian designer Gabrielle De Winter placed third with "Heirloom Studies," winning $6,000.

Curtain collections from all three designers went on sale on the TWOPAGES website the same day.

As part of the final round, each finalist presented their designs through a video and a talk; dancers then performed pieces inspired by the creations. In keeping with the theme, "Curtain as Art," the event also featured three large fabric installations based on the finalists' designs, alongside interactive activations including a fan-making workshop and live voting that invited attendees to engage directly with the creative process.

Now in its second year, the contest received 1,082 entries from 825 designers across 56 countries. The first contest in 2025 demonstrated the initiative's ability to take original designs beyond the competition, from submission and selection through collaborative development to commercial product launches, with all six winning collections remaining available on the TWOPAGES website.

The jury panel included Jennifer Farrell, Leatrice Eiseman, Ingrid Abramovitch, and Bari J. Ackerman. Interior designer Jennifer Farrell praised the "incredible talent" of designers from around the world, while Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, recognized the dedication and hard work behind their designs. Following the finalists' presentations and live discussions, the four judges evaluated and scored their work.

The event also celebrated the third anniversary of TWOPAGES' collaboration with interior designer and creator Sara Le.
