Custom Delivery Solutions celebrates key delivery milestone by giving back to a team member in need
TORONTO, Aug. 23, 2021 /PRNewswire/ - Custom Delivery Solutions (CDS), the "big and bulky" last-mile division of Metro Supply Chain's transportation solutions sector, hit a major delivery milestone by completing its one-millionth delivery in a calendar year – demonstrating its exponential growth, innovative focus and emphasis on exceptional customer service. To commemorate this achievement, CDS delivered a special prize to a deserving team member whose family was negatively impacted by the pandemic.
Calgary resident Kristy Christiansen was nominated by her co-workers to receive a brand-new washer, dryer, fridge, range and dishwasher, a $2,000 staging certificate and a $2,000 check. Financially strained by COVID-19, Christiansen's family also suffered recent loss and other hardships. The CDS team chose the prizes based on her family's most pressing needs.
