LOS ANGELES, May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Customers of Farmers Insurance who suffered losses as a result of a severe weather system that moved through Northeastern Texas on May 10, 2015, have begun to recover from the damaging storm. Since the storm struck late last night, Farmers Insurance representatives, agents and adjusters have begun to assist customers in the area.
Specialized catastrophe adjusters have been dispatched and will provide assistance to customers in the areas impacted by the storm. According to Farmers Insurance, one key to a quick recovery is a speedy response, which is why Farmers Insurance immediately responds with the resources necessary to help customers.
Farmers Insurance deployed staff to support customers via the Claims Call Centers and in the field. Utilizing the latest in geo-technology, catastrophe claims staff are analyzing the incoming claims and are deploying resources and personnel to ensure a prompt and efficient response.
Farmers has also deployed its Mobile Claim Center (MCC) bus to the area and is expected to be ready to begin assisting local residents on Tuesday morning, May 12. Beginning Tuesday morning, the Farmers MCC bus will be at: First Baptist Church, 119 E. First St., Van, Texas 75790.
Farmers customers who suffered damage from the storms and have not yet submitted a claim may still do so by contacting their agent, via the www.farmers.com web site, or by calling the 24-hour claims center.
