CVR Refining Names Rhonda Speer As Vice President Of Crude Oil Supply Operations

SUGAR LAND, Texas, Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CVR Refining, LP (NYSE: CVRR), a refiner and marketer of petroleum fuels, today announced that Rhonda Speer will become the company's vice president of crude oil supply operations, effective immediately.


Speer had been the director of crude supply and operations for CVR Refining subsidiary Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC.

"Rhonda has played an important role in the growth and success of our crude oil supply operations," said Wyatt Jernigan, executive vice president of crude oil acquisition and petroleum marketing. "Her extensive industry knowledge and understanding of our business will continue to guide us as we move forward."

Speer has more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the company in 2006, she served as the vice president of crude supply and product marketing for Age Refining, Inc. She has also held various crude oil trading and supply management positions at El Paso Merchant Energy, Unocal Global Trade, Dynegy Crude Gathering and Marketing, and Kerr-McGee Refining Corporation.

Speer holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. In addition, Speer has served on the board of trustees for the Carl McCain Memorial Foundation since 2009.
