The gift was announced at a March 25 reception hosted by Dade Medical College honoring U.S. Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey.
"Miami Children's Hospital is one of our community's most valuable resources and we are committed to investing in this superior pediatric medical institution that helps so many needy families help make their children better," said Perez.
