Dahlman Rose & Co. Appoints Glenn Starkman as Global Head of Sales Trading

NEW YORK, July 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dahlman Rose & Company, LLC, a leading investment bank specializing in natural resources, transportation, and other industries in the global supply chain, announced today that it has appointed Glenn Starkman as Global Head of Sales Trading, effective immediately. In the new position, Mr. Starkman will be responsible for the ongoing growth and leadership of the firm's sales trading effort.

Mr. Starkman, 49, has more than 27 years of experience in institutional sales and trading. Prior to joining Dahlman Rose, he served as Global Head of Sales Trading at Knight Capital Group, a global financial services firm. From 2000-2009, Mr. Starkman held various roles at UBS AG including managing both their Sales and International Sales Trading Businesses in the US. He began his Wall Street career at Sanford Bernstein in their Asset Management division where he spent 10 years, before being employed by Goldman Sachs & Co. from 1994 to 2000.  Mr. Starkman received a BA in Economics from Boston University.
