Dahlman Rose & Co. Appoints Mark G. Downey Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Dahlman Rose & Co., a leading investment bank specializing in the global natural resources supply chain, announced today that it has appointed Mark G. Downey as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. In the new position, Mr. Downey will be responsible for all finance functions, controls and oversight, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Simon Rose.

Mr. Downey, 44, has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 10 years as a CFO. Previously, he served as CFO, Treasurer and Senior Managing Director for Tullett Prebon Americas Holding Corp., where he expanded the finance, operations and credit departments at the London-based inter-dealer broker's U.S. subsidiary. Prior to that, he was CFO and Chief Operating Officer for LaBranche Financial Services, a provider of trade execution and clearing services for individual and institutional investors. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Downey was the CFO and Head of Finance at Commerzbank Capital Markets Corp. In addition to his executive management experience, Mr. Downey served as a senior-level manager for approximately 13 years.
