Daia Orthodontics & TMJ Orthopedics Announces Expansion into Canada
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Daia Orthodontics & TMJ Orthopedics, a leading orthodontic and orofacial pain practice based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, today announced its expansion into Canada through the acquisition of four orthodontic clinics across the Maritime provinces.
The four acquired clinics (formerly docbraces), located in Grand Falls NB, Woodstock NB, Charlottetown PEI and Summerside PEI, will continue serving their local communities under the leadership of their existing clinical and administrative teams. Patients throughout the Maritimes are already familiar with Dr. Daia, who has been treating patients at these locations since 2021 and has built trusted relationships with doctors, patients and families in the communities they serve.
"Our expansion into Canada is overdue. It is an exciting and meaningful next chapter for Daia Orthodontics. The amount of appreciation and support I have received from people in the Maritimes made this commitment the right decision," said Dr. Hadi Daia, founder/owner of Daia Orthodontics. "The Maritimes have a strong tradition of community-focused healthcare, and we are honored to become part of these communities. My goal is not simply to grow the number of practices, but to support exceptional clinicians and teams while giving patients access to the highest standards of orthodontic and comprehensive TMD, Orofacial Pain and TMJ Orthopedics health care."
Dr. Daia brings a uniquely global cross-border perspective to the expansion. In addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of Orofacial Pain, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in the Specialty of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
"Our philosophy has always been that orthodontics is about more than straight teeth," said Dr. Daia. "It is about understanding the relationship between the teeth, jaws, muscles, body posture, airways and overall function, and developing an individualized treatment plan around each patient's needs and anatomical possibilities. We look forward to continuing that philosophy in our Canadian practices."
With the addition of four Maritime clinics, Daia Orthodontics will serve patients across 5 locations, creating new opportunities for collaboration among orthodontists, specialists and clinical teams.
"Growth is only meaningful when it allows us to improve the care we provide," said Dr. Daia. "We are excited about what this next chapter can mean for our patients, our teams and the communities we have the privilege of serving."
