Daikin Applied Names Jeff Drees as Chief Executive Officer

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Daikin Industries, Ltd., the world's number one air-conditioning company, today announced that Jeff Drees has been selected as the new chief executive officer and president of Daikin Applied Americas. Drees currently serves as executive vice president of sales, marketing and aftermarket at Daikin Applied, and will replace Mike Schwartz who is retiring at the end of August after 11 years leading the organization.

Drees came to Daikin with experience in commercial engineering and operations. He held executive positions in private equity, as well as serving in significant business unit roles at Flowserve and Schneider Electric. He started his career in the United States Air Force, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Aurora University.
