Daiya and NBA All-Star Cade Cunningham Launch New Poppable Cheesecake Bites
A rich, creamy, freezer-ready indulgence at just 100 calories per serving (2–3 bites), now available at participating Kroger, Sprouts Farmers Market and Meijer locations.
NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bite-sized indulgence is having a moment - from grab-and-go snacking to perfectly portioned desserts, consumers are looking for treats that fit effortlessly into everyday life. No planning ahead, no jumping through hoops.
Enter Daiya Cheesecake Bites - Daiya's newest poppable innovation: a rich, creamy cheesecake center wrapped in a decadent dark chocolatey coating, ready straight from the freezer. At just 100 calories per serving (2–3 bites), they're designed to deliver an indulgent dessert experience in a perfectly portioned, freezer-ready format.
Daiya is teaming up with NBA All-Star Cade Cunningham, who has followed a dairy-free lifestyle for years. For Cade, choosing dairy-free has never meant settling for less when it comes to taste, making him a natural partner for Daiya Cheesecake Bites, a dessert built to deliver indulgence.
"For me, it's all about balance. I work hard, but I also believe you shouldn't have to miss out on the foods you love. I've followed a dairy-free lifestyle for years, and finding dairy-free desserts that genuinely deliver on taste isn't always easy. Daiya Cheesecake Bites do exactly that, which made partnering with the brand feel like a natural fit," said Cade Cunningham, NBA All-Star.
Daiya Cheesecake Bites bring a rich, creamy dessert experience to everyday little-teat moments, with dairy-free as a bonus. Three flavors, zero compromises. Daiya Cheesecake Bites come in Original, Strawberry and Chocolate - each featuring a rich, creamy cheesecake center wrapped in a decadent dark chocolatey coating, built for freezer-to-mouth speed. No fork, no wait, no catch.
"What makes Cheesecake Bites exciting is that they make indulgence feel easy. The creamy cheesecake center and rich dark chocolatey coating give you a real dessert experience, and whether you go for Original, Strawberry or Chocolate, two to three pieces are just 100 calories. Cade is such a natural partner because he lives dairy-free himself, but like the consumers we want to reach, he refuses to compromise on taste," said John Kelly, Chief Marketing Officer at Daiya.

About Daiya
Daiya Foods has been a pioneer of plant-based, delicious, dairy-free products since 2008. The company's growing line of premium, plant-based foods began with cheese formats including blocks, shreds, slices, sticks, cream cheese style spreads and cheese sauces. Daiya has since expanded with great success into cheese-forward foods like pizza, Mac & Cheese, and frozen cheesecake. Daiya products are available in the dairy and freezer aisles, and products like Mac & Cheese and salad dressings are in the shelf-stable section of most major grocery stores.
Delicious plant-based foods from Daiya are broadly available in more than 25,000 grocery stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as through e-commerce partnerships. Daiya's products can be found internationally in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
