Dallas Attorney Brent Walker from Aldous Law Firm Earns 2012 Texas Rising Stars Listing

This marks the fifth consecutive year that Mr. Walker has been recognized on the Texas Rising Stars list for his work in personal injury litigation.

Mr. Walker represents plaintiffs in commercial litigation, personal injury claims and healthcare law matters at the trial and appellate levels. Last year, he served as co-counsel with Ms. Aldous in a case involving a teenage girl who was wrongly expelled from the Episcopal School of Dallas after it was discovered that a teacher had involved the student in a sexual relationship. Following nine weeks of emotional and sometimes heated testimony, a six-person jury awarded the family a multimillion-dollar verdict.

To develop the annual listing of the state's best young lawyers, researchers surveyed attorneys from across the state, asking them who they consider the best lawyers in Texas age 40 or younger, and those who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Fewer than 2.5 percent of all eligible lawyers earn the Texas Rising Stars distinction each year.

The 2012 Texas Rising Stars listing is featured in the April 2012 issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.
