DALLAS, Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Family Law boutique Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, LLP, is proud to congratulate Dallas lawyer Monica Cruz on earning Board Certification in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Ms. Cruz earned board certification by meeting all the requirements set forth by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and passing the comprehensive, daylong written examination designed to gauge an attorney's expertise in Family Law matters.
Ms. Cruz, who previously served in the Child Support Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office, has a special interest in cases involving children's issues and she regularly works with clients in matters involving custody and support disputes.
She currently serves on the State Bar of Texas District 1 Grievance Committee. She has been named to the Texas Rising Stars list of the state's leading young attorneys each year since 2010. She was recognized among the Top 100 Business Leaders in the United States in the 2014-2015 edition of the Latino American Who's Who.
A 2005 graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law, Ms. Cruz participated in the school's Study Abroad Program by attending the University of Guanajuato's Summer Law Institute in Mexico in 2003. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech in 1999.
