Dan Shapiro Named Chief Financial Officer at ESN

ARLINGTON, Va., July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dan Shapiro, formerly executive vice president and COO at Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN) has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at the Arlington-based company.

Mr. Shapiro, who joined ESN in 1998, has more than 35 years of professional experience in financial management. He has 20 years of established competencies in Navy Programming, Planning, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), resource and program management, and operations efforts for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWAR).

Mr. Shapiro spent time as a Tax manager for COMSAT and a controller for NMP, Inc. before moving into the DoD arena. Mr. Shapiro started his career supporting NAVSEA as an analyst for the Trident Submarine Program and became the lead Acquisition Manager for the Interior Communications Branch.
