Danaher and Cooper Complete Joint Venture of Tool Businesses

WASHINGTON, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) and Cooper Industries (NYSE:CBE) have completed the previously announced joint venture of their respective tools businesses.  The partners will deconsolidate the financial results of their respective tools businesses and record the financial results based on the equity method of accounting beginning in the third quarter of 2010.
