Dancing with the Stars Contestant, Model, Author And Talk Show Host Amber Rose Announced As Spokesperson For Respect My Vote! Campaign

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Respect My Vote! campaign today announced pop culture maven and  'Dancing with the Stars' contestant, Amber Rose as the latest celebrity spokesperson. The renowned model and proud mother, actor, activist, entrepreneur, and published author from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has risen to  popularity with her controversial yet impactful perspective on women's issues. Through her not-for-profit organization, the Amber Rose Foundation dedicated to female empowerment and equality, Rose single handedly created the 'Amber Rose SlutWalk;' an annual event held in Los Angeles.

On October 1^st, 'SlutWalk' will take place in an effort to raise awareness for and combat against issues such as sexual violence, victim blaming, derogatory labels and gender inequality. The Respect My Vote! campaign will have a presence at 'SlutWalk' to take voter pledges and assist in registering new voters through a pop-up registration station. As a spokesperson, Amber will rally her massive social media influence to drive the message of creating change in the community through the power of the vote in both national and local elections.
