Daniel Hood Named Editor-in-Chief of Accounting Today

NEW YORK, March 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) SourceMedia announced today that Daniel Hood has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Accounting Today, the leading information resource for tax and accounting professionals. As Editor-in-Chief, Hood will be responsible for expanding the group's digital and social media initiatives, leveraging SourceMedia's research capabilities to the benefit of the accounting profession, and developing innovative community-building programs.

Hood was previously Accounting Today's Managing Editor. The publication also has won an Excellence in Financial Journalism award from the New York State Society of CPAs.
