Dr. Wunder is Chief of the Vascular and Interventional Division of Premier Radiology, where he has worked for the past 16 years and utilizes expertise in all facets of radiology. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology as well as Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His training and experience of over two decades of patient care and management gives depth to his position.

Prior to completing his Medical degree from the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota, Dr. Wunder earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a University Scholar distinction from the University of South Dakota. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, and added a certificate in Vascular and Interventional Radiology to his resume.
In 2016, Dr. Wunder has earned the Top Doctor Award. He attributes his success to his perseverance, hard work, attention to detail and care delivered with compassion. His advice to those entering the field is to treat each patient as you would like to be treated if you were a patient. He cites his father, James Wunder, MD, as his mentor.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Wunder enjoys fly fishing, beekeeping and farming. He has earned the distinction of Master Gardener and with his wife Melinda, manage a 30 acre farm, where they raise zebus (miniature cows), dwarf dairy goats, horses and chickens.
