The Bluetooth/ Bluetooth low energy dual mode capability introduced in the next-generation DataLogger telematics device is just one of the new features available in the DL 8-series. TI's SimpleLink CC2564 device provides best-in-class range and supports Bluetooth 4.0 dual mode capabilities which is a great fit for the automotive industry because it enables connectivity to a variety of Bluetooth/Bluetooth low energy-based devices. With the SimpleLink CC2564 device embedded in Danlaw's solution, it now can offer custom interface handling to support Bluetooth-based applications such as driver identification, real-time feedback, hybrid data transmission, and text or phone disablement.
