Dannon brings free yogurt and coupons to downtown Chicago on August 1

CHICAGO, July 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- To encourage Chicagoans to eat yogurt every day, about 300 employees of The Dannon Company will be handing out more than 17,000 cups of yogurt on Thursday, August 1 from 1 to 3 PM. It is part of Dannon's mission to educate Americans about the benefits of eating yogurt every day. "Danoners" (Dannon employees) will hit the streets of downtown Chicago to share the benefits of eating yogurt every day while distributing the free samples, while supplies last, plus about 40,000 coupons for Dannon products.

Danoners wearing Dannon t-shirts, asking, "Have you had some today?" will be located at five downtown Chicago locations including: Ohio State Beach, Ogden Plaza, Pritzker Park, Rosenberg Fountain and Museum Campus. Several members of Dannon's team will also be stationed at various food retailers in the downtown Chicago area. Chicagoans will have the opportunity to sample some of the company's yogurts and smoothies including: Dannon® Oikos® 0%, Activia® Greek, Light & Fit® Greek, Stonyfield® Greek and Danimals® Smoothies.
