Daroth Capital Advisors Merges with East Wind Advisors

NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- East Wind Advisors, a leading industry-focused middle market investment banking firm, continues its expansion and announced today its combination with Daroth Capital Advisors, a firm started by Peter Rothschild in 2002 to provide high quality investment banking services for the middle market.  Peter Rothschild, Founder & Principal of Daroth, has joined East Wind as a Partner. 

Since its formation in 2002, East Wind Advisors' mission has been to provide bulge-bracket quality M&A and Corporate Finance advisory services to companies across the corporate life cycle and financial sponsors.  Senior-level attention, seasoned judgement and relentless pursuit of its clients' objectives are hallmarks of the firm.  The firm initially covered the Education Technology & Services and Media &  Entertainment sectors and then expanded to service clients in the Consumer & Retail sector.  Peter Rothschild will lead the firm's General Industry and Special Situations Group, which will strengthen the firm's ability to service clients outside its industry focus, as well as expand and deepen its capabilities in areas such as leveraged finance. 

Prior to founding Daroth, which has completed over $7 billion of M&A and financing transactions, Mr. Rothschild was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Leveraged Finance and Industrial Finance groups at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and its predecessor Wasserstein Perella.  Mr. Rothschild was a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Natural Resources Group at Bear Stearns prior to Wasserstein and was one of the founders of the firm's Leveraged Finance and Financial Buyer Coverage groups.  Mr. Rothschild currently serves as a director of The Wendy's Company.
