Datablink Names James Hamilton to Board of Directors
TYSONS CORNER, Va., April 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Datablink, Inc., a global provider of advanced authentication and transaction signing solutions, today announced the appointment of James Hamilton to the company's board of directors.
With more than 25 years of IT industry experience, Hamilton has held a variety of senior leadership roles. Currently serving as senior vice president of worldwide sales and field operations at Cyan, he previously served president of security analytics company Click Security, CEO of consulting firm CPSG Partners, and executive vice president at SafeNet, where he led strategic alliances as well as mergers and acquisitions.
From 2003 to 2009, Hamilton was president of TippingPoint, which was acquired by 3Com in 2005 and is now part of HP. He also served as president of Efficient Networks, an early pioneer in the DSL space, which was acquired by Siemens in 2001. He also held executive positions at Picazo Communications (acquired by Intel), Networth (acquired by Compaq), and Grid Systems. Hamilton earned a degree in computer science from Lawrence Technological University.
