Daisy Itty has over 15 years of experience building and leading engineering teams in startups as well as large enterprises. Most recently Daisy was Director of Engineering at Responsys where she ran the development of their industry-leading cross-channel SaaS marketing platform. Prior to Responsys, Daisy was Director of Engineering at BlueRoads, a SaaS CRM provider for indirect sales channels. She was also one of the first engineers at Selectica, playing a key role growing them from early-stage startup to highly successful IPO.
Robin Schumacher has spent the last 20 years working with databases and big data. He comes to DataStax from EnterpriseDB, where he built and led a market-driven product management group. Previously, Robin started and led the product management team at MySQL for three years before they were bought by Sun (the largest open source acquisition in history), and then by Oracle. He also started and led the product management team at Embarcadero Technologies. Robin is the author of three database performance books and frequent speaker at industry events.
