David Naccarati brings a wealth of experience to Gold Canyon from his more than three decades of experience in mining. While at Phelps Dodge, Mr. Naccarati led the operations of all of Phelps Dodge's copper mines worldwide, an operation that employed 11,000 people and produced 2.4 billion pounds of copper annually. He has also directly operated five mines where he led significant technical and operational transformations. Mr. Naccarati is currently on the Board of Cupric Canyon Capital and an adjunct professor in the Department of Mining and Geological Engineering at the University of Arizona.
