"On July 1st the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) will be updated to require all federal agencies to purchase computer hardware, and in some cases software, which has been certified for IPv6 readiness. We are confident that David's experience, coupled with our deep domain expertise, will ensure the security of our client's networks as they implement this policy change," said Al Rogers, Major General, USAF (Ret.) and CEO of Command Information.

David Helms, Vice President for Cyber Security Engineering, said, "I look forward to bringing my experience in cyber security, and specifically Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the government. I am honored to join such an accomplished team and I'm ready to get started working together to address some very complex challenges."

Mr. Helms brings over two decades of hands-on leadership in technology companies, having run efforts in the areas of cyber security, DPI solutions, lawful intercept systems, identity management systems and biometric authentication solutions. Since 2002 he was the director of professional services at CloudShield, now an SAIC company, where he led the international consulting organization that developed and deployed advanced DPI solutions.

"We are pleased to have David join in our mission of protecting and securing Internet Protocol networks as they transition to IPv6.  He is key to helping us address the ever expanding security needs of our clients, especially in the Defense and Intelligence agencies," said Lisa Donnan, Executive Vice President of Cyber Security Solutions at Command Information.
