DaVita Medical Group Acquires Respected Physician Practices in the Orlando Area

ORLANDO, Fla., July 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita Medical Group, a division of DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA) and a leading independent medical group in the United States, today announced the acquisition of Dr. Rahn Shaw's practices, Park Avenue Medical, Inc. and Winter Park Health Center, Inc., each located in Orlando.  Dr. Shaw has been an affiliate with DaVita Medical Group since 2005.

The transaction for the acquisition of the two practices closed on July 1, 2017.  Under the terms of the acquisition, the practices will be branded "DaVita Medical Group."
