LOS ANGELES, Feb. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- A Valentine's gift to the show's fans, Days of our Lives producers and book authors present the extraordinarily beautiful cast members of the hugely popular NBC daytime drama, appearing larger than life on the Time Square Sony Jumbo-Tron, which started February 14th. The cast appears in a promotional video made to highlight the extremely successful photo book, Days of our Lives 45 Years: A Celebration in Photos. The eight different videos are shot with a bit more edge and candid sexiness than allowed on daytime television and are sure to make people stop and talk about what they see.

The promos, like the book, show a candid behind-the-scenes look into what happens on the set while filming which is a new and unique concept to daytime television. "To see the cast candidly interacting with each other and the crew is incredible especially since it was considered taboo for so long," commented Greg Meng, author of the book and Executive in Charge of Production for DooL.  "We are thrilled that the fans are enjoying the book and the show so much enabling all of us to do what we love to do!"

Not only will the cast of "Days of our Lives" be larger than life in Times Square, but they are coming to the NBC Experience Store as well on February 25th. Various cast members from NBC's daytime drama "Days of our Lives" will embark on a fan-filled multi-city book tour promoting the glossy photo companion book, Days of our Lives 45 Years: A Celebration in Photos, along with its authors Greg Meng and Eddie Campbell. James Scott, who plays EJ DiMera, as well as Kristian Alfonso, who plays Hope Brady, Galen Gering who plays Rafe Hernandez and Crystal Chappell who plays Carly Manning, will be heading up the talent set to appear at the NBC Experience Store (30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, NY 10112).

In addition, A Secret in Salem author (and former DooL head writer) Sheri Anderson will accompany this incredible tour and all time favorite Deidre Hall will be in attendance in Miami and Chicago with her book, Kitchen Close Up with Deidre Hall. The tour begins with a signing in Houston, Texas and will include Miami, NYC, Chicago and New Orleans.

Days of our Lives 45 Years: A Celebration in Photos is a rare glimpse of over 500 behind the scenes photographs of one of America's most beloved television shows. Using never-before-seen images of cast, crew, sets, and styling, the proverbial "4th wall" is broken for an extraordinary look inside the studio and into the lives of the stars of the longest-running scripted program in NBC's history.

A Secret in Salem by Sheri Anderson is the first in a series of three thrilling romantic stories. Sheri Anderson is an American writer and producer who worked primarily on serials and in international film and television development before authoring A Secret in Salem, which is her newest in the fiction book series Salem's Secrets, Scandals and Lies.

Kitchen Close Up with Deidre Hall is an all-in-one lifestyle and cook book centered around simple recipes and concepts that yield big results in health and welfare.
