DCS Corp Wins DHS EAGLE II Contract Award

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- DCS Corp announced today that the company has received an award under the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract vehicle.  EAGLE II is managed by DHS' Information Technology Acquisition Center and provides IT support services to multiple DHS programs.  The total value of the multiple-award contract is undetermined. Work will occur over seven years, assuming the exercise of all options.

Under the EAGLE II vehicle, DCS will be eligible to bid for work in the Independent Test, Validation, Verification and Evaluation (IV&V) Functional Category 3, ensuring that all IT products and services meet DHS standards and perform to defined design, cost, schedule, and performance specifications/capabilities. DCS will also provide independent verification and validation for all aspects of systems security as it relates to Government practices, policies, and procedures. Such work will include risk analysis, development of recommendations, implementations, and plans for new procedures or changes to existing systems.
