Decade Software Company Announces Contract to Provide Integrated Data Management System to Spokane Regional Health District

The Health District was motivated to seek an integrated environmental health solution after years of struggling with data silos. "We have a lot of individual programs, each with their own database or two. Besides junk data, the disconnect between these systems is a big problem," says Patti Anderson, Database Technician for the District. "For example, if a customer comes to the front counter with a liquid waste application, the employee at the counter has no way to see any related data. He won't know if they have any outstanding applications, enforcement actions, or invoices. We needed a relational system where everything is under one package and easily accessible. Besides the user-friendly interface, that was what really stood out about EnvisionConnect."
David Swink, Environmental Public Health Director, agreed that Decade's integration capabilities were an attractive quality, especially when it came to EnvisionConnect's statewide use.
