Defense Unicorns Awarded $350M Single Award IDIQ to Accelerate Software Delivery for the Department of War

SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Defense Unicorns, the leader in airgap-native software delivery for national security missions, announced today it has been awarded a DoW-wide single-award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) with a ceiling value of $350 million. The vehicle gives any DoW organization direct access to Defense Unicorns' software products to include Unified Defense Stack (UDS) Enterprise and UDS Fleet.

Single-award IDIQs allow ordering activities to issue task orders without running a new competition for each requirement. Under this vehicle, any DoW organization can acquire Defense Unicorns products through a streamlined task order process, reducing the time between identifying a need and getting software into use.

UDS Enterprise provides the hardened runtime and shared cyber services that let mission software run securely in cloud, on-premises, and tactical edge environments. UDS Fleet gives program offices a single control plane to manage and update software across distributed operational environments at scale. Both products are now available to DoW customers.

This award follows a growing portfolio of Defense Unicorns customers within the U.S. Army and greater Department of War. Existing customers include the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, with software deployed across more than 100 mission systems and organizations. Defense Unicorns is accessible to federal agencies, including DHS and CISA, through additional procurement vehicles.

DoW organizations can begin issuing task orders under the IDIQ immediately.
